A royal expert has claimed King Charles has given a ‘hidden message’ to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, suggesting a possible route back into the Royal Family
King Charles has signaled to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a way back into the Royal Family, according to an expert.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have seen their relationship with the Royal Family deteriorate in recent years, especially after their bombshell revelations in both their Netflix docuseries and Harry’s explosive memoir, Spare.
These tell-alls have significantly strained Harry’s relationships with both his father, King Charles, and his brother, Prince William. Yet amid the family drama, a source close to the monarch hinted that Charles’ forgiving approach toward Prince Andrew regarding his own scandals may set an example for mending ties with Harry.

Tom Sykes, on his podcast The Daily Beast, shared insights from a family friend of the King’s. He said: “A family friend of the King’s [has said] that it was clear there had been a willingness to bring Andrew in from the cold, and, intriguingly, hinted that it could be a template for future reconciliation with his son.”

In addition to Prince Andrew’s ongoing embarrassment due to his association with Jeffrey Epstein, he has been embroiled in a dispute with Charles over the future of the Royal Lodge on the Windsor estate, where Andrew currently lives. Despite this, he remains part of the Royal Family.
According to Sykes, the “extent to which the King has publicly made it clear Andrew is still part of the family has caught some people by surprise.” He went on to say: “But ultimately, he has the interests of the monarchy at heart, and that means a united family, whatever its problems.
“Hopefully that message is getting through to Harry and Meghan.” Recent reports suggest Charles is eager for his family to reconnect, and Harry is keen on visiting Britain more frequently, despite the King not providing him with a UK residence.
However, it seems their relationship still has a way to go as Harry failed to meet up with his father during his recent return trip to the UK. Meghan didn’t join her husband and instead remained in California with their two children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
